Bowls

Bowl forms are probably the most ancient of clay vessels. Their simplicity offers almost unlimited possibility for variation while still serving as containers in the mainstream of pottery tradition. The design challenge is to arrange the parts of this least technically difficult form into a coherent whole that satisfies both the hand and the eye.  A well-realized bowl is an undiluted pleasure.
